Todd Williamson, M.D., the immediate past president of the Medical Association of Georgia, is scheduled to discuss national health care reform legislation on the Russ Morley in the Morning program on WFTL/Florida on Wednesday, March 17 at 8:10 a.m. Go to www.850wftl.com to listen to the interview. Dr. Williamson is the spokesman for the Coalition of State Medical and National Specialty Societies that has 13 charter members that represent some 80,000 physicians. The coalition is focused on preserving the practice of medicine and the patient-physician relationship.

MAG is currently recruiting "Doctor of the Day" volunteers for April 12, 19, 21, 26, 27, 28, and 30 (assuming legislators are still in session). Please contact Liz Bullock at 678.303.9271 or ebullock@mag.org to volunteer. Doctor of the Day volunteers provide free minor medical care to legislators and their staff for one or more days during the legislative session.
